Echoes of Liberation

On February 18, the «Echoes of Liberation» exhibit was inaugurated at Random House, Bucharest. The initiative was promoted by Utopix alongside Fundraisers for Falastin Romania and included solidarity posters with the Palestinian cause produced by artists from 9 countries (Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Cuba, Morocco, Mexico, Romania, Venezuela and the US).

Among the 30 pieces that make up the display, most are artworks yet to be posted on our website, and some were designed especially for the event. The inauguration also featured a discussion on cultural production and resistance and the auction of one «Memory and Struggle» Utopix calendar. The posters were put up for sale to gather resources for Fundraisers for Falastin Romania’s solidarity actions with Palestine. The exhibit will be open to the public until March. 4
