Vilma Espin
Revolucionaria y feminista cubana, Figura clave en la Revolución Cubana y en la lucha por los derechos de las mujeres. Fue miembro del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Cuba, diputada de la Asamblea Nacional y fundó la Federación de Mujeres Cubanas, promoviendo la igualdad de género y la participación política de las mujeres.

Cuban revolutionary and feminist, and a key figure in the Cuban Revolution and in the struggle for women’s rights. She was a member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party, a deputy in the National Assembly and founded the Federation of Cuban Women, promoting gender equality and women’s political participation.
